CPA Changes Public Meeting Location

May 18, 2015

The first public meeting where anybody might have the chance to voice their support or opposition for the Canaveral Port Authority's embattled commercial cargo rail plan has been moved from the Maritime Center to Cruise Ship Terminal #1 at Port Canaveral in anticipation of another standing-room-only crowd for Wednesday morning's meeting.

No Fill, No Kill founder Alex Gorichky and former Port Commissioner Sue Ford will unveil a new alternative to the CPA's plan.

"Our plan requires a minimum of fill," says Gorichky. "It uses existing travel corridors, and gives folks involved a real opportunity to celebrate commercial rail. It's a very common sense approach that we think will be embraced by the community."

The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Cruise Ship Terminal 1, just next store to Grill's... right where the Canaveral Port Authority closed the public boat ramp.
