SBI Settles Case in Powerboat Fatality

January 20, 2015

Attorneys for Page Motor Sports throttleman Joey Gratton's family settled their lawsuit today against Super Boats International, based in Key West. Gratton was killed in a spectacular powerboat wreck in the 2011 SBI World Championships. Terms of the settlement were undisclosed and SBI has yet to comment on the litigation. Another suit is pending in the death of SBI racer, Jeffery Tillman who perished in a second fatal accident that year.
